TO ATTEND: Gabriela Maj's 'The Almond Garden' @ Daylight Project Space

Join us at the opening reception for Gabriela Maj's exhibition 'Almond Garden'. Made over the course of four years, Maj's project is the largest record documenting the experiences of incarcerated women in Afghanistan to date. Consisting of a series haunting portraits of the inmates along with the inmates' own stories, the voices in 'Almond Garden' testify to the human rights abuses many Afghan women continue to endure.
