Drifting West

Drifting West is an online contemporary photography publication, edited by Andy Hughs, seeking to highlight new series of work, book projects and gallery exhibitions by photographers with connections to Cornwall. During the Spring and Summer of 2010, Drifting West will be organizing a series of residential photography workshops in Cornwall. Submissions for the next issue are now being excepted. Steffi Klenz: Nummianus at The New Art Gallery

On Thursday, September 10th, Steffi Klenz's: Nummianus will be opening at The New Art Gallery in Walsall. In this body of work, Klenz has photographed rows of boarded up terraced houses in Greater Manchester. Along with the exhibition there will be a publication with contributions by Steffi Klenz, Marc Coursins, Jean Wainwright, Jennifer Thatcher and Jeremy Tills.
VSC International Residency Program

The Vermont Studio Center's international residency program is open to all artists and

Hey, Hot Shot! 2009 Competition

Hey, Hot Shot! is a photography competition offering a wide variety of exposure to its winners. At the conclusion of each competition, five hot shots are selected to be a part of a two-week group show at Jen Bekman Gallery in New York City. Each hot shot also has their work released on 20x20, a Jen Bekman Project that offers limited edition prints for sale online. The deadline for submissions is October 23, 2009.
