CALL FOR SUPPORT: Will Steacy’s Deadline Project

For the past 5 years New York based photographer Will Steacy has been documenting the newsroom and printing plant of the The Philadelphia Inquirer in attempts to construct a visual narrative of the decline of print journalism.
He has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the last burst of work needed to complete this project, which has 7 days and $4,000 dollars to go!
In the last week of the campaign, please consider donating to the last push of this amazing project! A menagerie of gifts come with a donation, ranging from a pins to editions of the forthcoming book Deadline, which will be the result of this Kickstarter campaign.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Int’l Photography Awards -- Deadline 07/30

International Photography Awards is seeking submissions for their 2014 competition. The call is open to professional, non-professional, and student photographers internationally. Winning submissions will be featured in the IPA Best of Show Exhibition and artists will receive awards ranging from $2,500 - $10,000.

The New Museum is currently showing Here and Elsewhere, a survey of photography by Arab artists and about the Arab world.
In line with their mission to provide a platform for emergent art around the globe, the show showcases the work of over 45 artists, many of whom are unknown and unseen in the New York art circles.
