Dates: November 23 - 27 Location: FoLa premises, Buenos AiresFELIFA, Feria de Libros de Fotos de Autor and FoLa, Fototeca Latinoamericana, invite photographers and editors from around the world to submit work to the FELIFA FoLa INTERNATIONAL PRIZE 2016, which will award the BEST EDITORIAL WORK a total of U$ 2000.Books published by independent and large publishing houses, self-published editions, and books published by institutions are all eligible for the prize.The winner will be announced at an event held on Friday, November 25 at 7PM.

INCEPTION TO PERFECTION: MAKING A PHOTO BOOK A photograph is made in the blink of an eye but long-term photographic projects can take months or years to bring to completion. Often culminating in a book, these projects take fortitude, dedication and, sometimes, a silly degree of commitment and sacrifice. Daylight's new season of book releases feature a number of such projects and we will be gathering some of our new artists to discuss the various facets that go into packaging long-term photographic projects into book form. Using both digital technologies and 19th century techniques, Sobsey’s art merges her two interests to illuminate forgotten histories of natural and human worlds and transform the national park collections she studies into vital representations of our present moment.
