Filter Photo is pleased to announce its 4th annual juried exhibition Mapping: borders, bodies, memories, which will run September 19th to October 6th, 2013. The opening reception will be held September 26th, 2013 from 6:30pm-9pm. The exhibition will take place at David Weinberg Photography located in Chicago's River North gallery district.
The show was juried by Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator of Griffin Museum of Photography. She selected the following 40 artists from over 300 entrants from all over the world.

Elin o'Hara Slavick's Until What Has Disappeared Appears will be showing at Stephen Cohen Gallery in Los Angeles. Opening reception will comence Thursday September 19, 2013 at 7pm. The exhibition will be on view until November 2, 2013. Elin o'Hara Slavick's book has been reviewed by the NY Times and LA Times.

Atlanta Celebrates Photography 2013

ACP proudly presents their 8th annual photography auction and gala, featuring Denise Bethel, on Friday, Sept. 20th, 2013 in Atlanta.
The evening will begin with a reception and silent auction at 6:30pm, followed by a steated dinner at 7:30pm and exciting live auction with a dazzling array of photographs.

PHOTOVILLE, the Brooklyn-based pop up photo destination built from freight containers transformed into exhibition spaces, opens up its photo village gates from September 19 to September 29!
Photoville will take place in Brooklyn Bridge Park at the uplands of pier 5.
