Rebecca Norris Webb will be showing at the Southeast Museum of Photography in Florida. Norris Webb will be showing her project My Dakota, on Friday October 18, 2013. She will be having an artist talk and book signing from 6pm to 8pm. The show will be on view until February 2nd 2014.

W. Eugene Smith Grant Ceremony

The W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund extends an open invitation to attend the ceremony for the 34th Annual W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography and Howard Chapnick Grant for the Advancement of Photojournalism.
The ceremony will take place on October 16, 2013 at The School of Visual Arts Theatre in New York. Doors open at 6:00 pm, event runs from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Admission is free with limited seating.

The sixth edition of the Photo Levallois Festival will take place from October 4th to November 16th in France.
From its beginning in 2008, the festival has been open to evolutions in photography without however favouring a particular trend, in order to respect photography’s plurality and richness, by according importance to young generations and to exchanges with the other creative domains. Internationally recognized, emerging artists as well as amateur photographers, all have a place in an event which gathers together major currents of contemporary photography.

Tokyo International Photography Competition 2013

The 2013 featured photographers that were selected by the jury for the inaugural exhibition of the Tokyo International Photography Competition are: Ayumi Tanaka, Dima Gavrysh, Elizabeth Moran, Gregg Segal, Julie Glassberg, Takahiro Kaneyama, Toru Shiomi, and Yozo Takada. The exhibition is now on view until October 24, 2013 at the United Photo Industries HQ in Brooklyn.
