CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Bitume Photofest

Italian cultural association Positivo Diretto is looking for submissions for their Bitume Photofest, an annual contemporary photography festival. This year’s the submission theme is “street memories”. Submissions that expose intimate moments of metropolitan life will be heavily considered. Selected photographers will have their work featured at the 2014 festival, as well as in cafes and other cultural venues.
DEADLINE: May 31st, submission is free

ON DISPLAY: August Sander’s “The Women”

Feroz Galerie is currently showing the work of the prolific German photographer August Sander. This set of photographs entitled “The Women” is the third in an eight part series of Sander’s 20th century portraits.
“The Women” will be on display through June 13th at their Bonn, Germany location. The series will continue through December 2014.
