The Julie Saul Gallery will be exhibiting Brian Ulrich's, 'Is This Place Great or What: Artifacts and Photographs' from March 22 - May 5. Through a decade-long photographic investigation of American consummerism, Brian Ulrich has amassed a large collection of artifacts from an earlier time. In this archive, Ulrich displays America's quest to keep the consumerist machine alive in a post-war, historical context. As we continue to advance in a consumerist country, Ulrich's project 'Is This Place Great or What: Artifacts and Photographs' will soon become a historical documentation of our past.
