Our World Portfolio Review

Applications are now being accepted for the 8th Annual Our World Portfolio Review held in San Francisco during the weekend of March 14-16. This is a great opportunity to show your work to a diverse group of jurors; writers, curators, editors, teachers and publishers. Furthermore, to ensure a high caliber of photographic excellence, the Our World Portfolio Review will be pre-juried with a limit of 60 partcipants. Over the course of two days, each photographer will have ten, twenty-minute portfolio reviews while fully immersed in an environment facilitating great networking possibilities and creativity.
Your $45.00 application fee will be waived if you email photo@photoalliance.org and let them know that your submission is through Daylight.
The deadline is considered rolling until all 60 spaces are filled, so for more information on how to apply, click here.
Mitsuo Suzuki: Sakura

Daylight is pleased to announce its exhibition of work by Japanese photographer Mitsuo Suzuki on display until April 4th. A closing reception will be held on March 28th from 6-9PM. Sakura's photography has been shown in galleries across the globe, from Tokyo, Washington D.C., and New York, to Berlin, Singapore and Poland.

On Second Glance: Photographs by Marco Gualtieri

Architectural and interiors photographer Marco Gualtieri's latest series of images will open tomorrow (3/4) at The American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles. Gualtieri's focal point is not simply LA, but more specifically, Wilshire Blvd which runs nearly 16 miles from downtown to LA to Santa Monica, the city's "symbolic" spine. This stretch of pavement and the districts it laces togetherwill be on display from March 4th - March 28th with an Artist Reception on March 13th, 6-8PM.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Candela's UnBound3

The third annual invitational exhibition UnBound3 has been annouced by Candela Books + Gallery. Those photographers chosen by a select jury will have their work exhibited this summer in Richmond, Virginia while a gala event will subsequently be held to raise funds so original works can find their permanent homes in the evergrowing Candela Collection.
