The New Museum is currently showing Here and Elsewhere, a survey of photography by Arab artists and about the Arab world.
In line with their mission to provide a platform for emergent art around the globe, the show showcases the work of over 45 artists, many of whom are unknown and unseen in the New York art circles.

Thursday through Sunday this summer, the International Center of Photography will be showing highlights from Robert Capa’s color portfolio at their Capa in Color exhibition. The show will be in Nolan Park on Governer’s Island, just a 15 minute ferry-ride from the South Ferry Loop.

Part two of the four part exhibition Multiplicity will be coming to Mixed Greens gallery this Thursday. This group exhibition features the work of several international artists whose work explores the poeticism of modern cities.

The theme for the award’s sixth edition is “Lawless areas in France”. Judges are seeking work that investigate those areas in France with little media attention, “political, legal or socioeconomic no man’s land subject to deregulation”.
