25CPW presents From Here to the Corner: A Reading Series, Exploring writing and oral history, focusing on hidden and vanishing histories of New York City.

Penny Arcade is an international performance artist and a writer of essays, poetry and theater. She will read from her new book, Bad Reputation: Performances, Essays, Interviews, released October 2009 by Semiotxt(e) (Native Agent Series)

Gerry Albarelli
is an author, professor and oral historian. Albarelli will read from his collection of stories, Mary, Queen of Immigrants. He will also share his video, Then, created from footage of NYC ACT UP demonstrations in the 1990's.

Boris Tsessarsky is a writer and writing instructor. He will be reading from his oral history project about the Lower East Side during the time of the Tompkins Square riots.
