DAYLIGHT PHOTO AWARDS LAUNCHED! ​ The 2022 Daylight Photo Awards Jury consists of: Barbara Tannenbaum - Cleveland Museum of Art David Oresick - Silver Eye Center for Photography Marvin Orellana - Apple Whitney Matewe - TIME ​ One top prize winner will receive a $1000 cash prize and the creation of a digital feature. Juror picks will be promoted via internal and external marketing campaigns and have the opportunity to collaborate with Daylight on the creation of a monograph of their work. 2021 DPA WINNER: Donavon Smallwood

The 2021 Daylight Photo Award Winner is Donavon Smallwood for his project 'Languor'  We are proud to announce that Donavon Smallwood is the winner of the 2021 Daylight Photo Awards! Donavon's project 'Languor' juxtaposes portraits of African-Americans with landscapes made in NYC's Central Park during the long months of lockdown. The beloved Central Park is built upon what once was the vibrant Black community of Seneca Village. With 'Languor' Donavon pays homage to this little remembered history while '"centering black tranquility among the chaos of nature, space, history and life today." Donavon will receive a $1000 cash prize and a digital feature.  https://stories.daylight.co/donavon-smallwood-languor  Congratulations...
