CEDEFOP Photomuseun Award 2010 PhotoBiennale CALL FOR ARTISTS.

The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training of the European Union, and the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography invite photographers to take part in the 3rd Cedefop Photomuseum Award, which is being organized in connection with the PhotoBiennale 2010.
This years theme: Learning for life, working to grow.
The chosen photographer/artist (1st award) will receive as a prize the sum of EUR 5 000. His or her work will be presented in a slide show during the award ceremony, and the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography will include an exhibition by the winner in its next PhotoBiennale.
The photographic material (portfolios) must be sent by 11 April 2010.

Louisiana Road Trip

The New Orleans Photo Alliance and the New Orleans Jazz Heritage
Festival presented by Shell are seeking images that depict the beauty
and diversity of the great state of Louisiana. Send your images from
the highways and cities that lead to New Orleans – the landscapes and
architecture, people and culture that make Louisiana so special.
Selected images will be exhibited in the Grandstand at the 2010 New
Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival presented by Shell.

2010 Habitat World Photo Contest

Habitat World, the quarterly magazine of
Habitat for Humanity International, is announcing the premiere of the 2010 Habitat World Photo Contest. Habitat World is look for photographs of volunteers and families who are receiving a home, or from
Habitat building sites. Photos should reflect the need for affordable, adequate
housing and Habitat’s life-changing work around the world.
The contest winner will be awarded a Habitat Global Village
trip to Pokhara, Nepal. Habitat World will pay for the winner’s
air transportation, modest accommodations and meals.
Habitat for Humanity plans several Global Village trips
every year that take place nationally and internationally. Global Village trip
participants work alongside members of the host community to building decent,
affordable housing.

International Photo Salon «PANORAMA OF MY COUNTRY»

National Photo-artists Union of Ukraine presents the International Photo Salon Panorama of my Country photography contest. Photographs should capture the essence of each Country: its people, its landscapes, its history, its architecture, its events, its traditions, and its folklore. The contest is open to photographs worldwide and is open to both panoramic and traditional formats.
Each entrant may submit a maximum of four images per section.
