On May 1st the Steven Kasher Gallery will be hosting a launch for Empire, Daylight's newest publication. Empire features a compilation of photographs by Martin Hyers and William Mebane taken on road-trips through the American South and West. In a style reminiscent of Eggleston, they focus on found objects in American homes that together describe with specificity what life in 21st century America looks and feels like.
