About Daylight / Submission Procedures / Contact Info

Daylight is a non-profit organization dedicated to publishing art and photography books. By exploring the documentary mode along with the more conceptual concerns of fine-art, Daylight’s uniquely collectible publications work to revitalize the relationship between art, photography, and the world-at-large.

Our community arts programs can be viewed here. Daylight receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURES:

In lieu of a fee, submissions require the purchase of a printed edition of the magazine. Purchases can be made online before submission. Please include the 'Transaction ID' along with the submission.

Due to a large volume of submissions we are no longer accepting printed material or emailed attachments for consideration. All submissions must be in the form of links to online portfolios and supplementary materials. Emails with attachments will be deleted.

Please write SUBMISSION: (subject matter), (name) in the subject line of the email. Within the body of the email please include a letter of introduction, a project summary, a link to an online portfolio, an abbreviated resume and the order number. We will make every effort to respond to each submission. Photographers that do not have a website are encouraged to use a free photo hosting service (ie. Flickr) in order to share their work. Please email all submissions to info@daylightbooks.org.
